Mississippi Blues Trail
The Mississippi Blues Trail is a program by the State of Mississippi to promote Mississippi’s musical heritage. The Mississippi Blues Trail has established a series of over 180 commemorative markers at sites throughout Mississippi to honor significant musicians, places, businesses, organizations and events in the history of Mississippi blues.
The State of Mississippi has a similar program for country music called the Mississippi Country Music Trail.
Some of these Mississippi Blues Trail markers are in other states and countries.
This page contains the complete current alphabetical list of markers as published by the Mississippi Blues Trail, along with with links to our pages on those sites we have actually visited so far. We plan to visit the remaining markers in future trips.
