You may want to see the Riverside Hotel in Clarksdale. Mississippi. Ike Turner lived at the Riverside Hotel at the time his King of Rhythm recorded Rocket 88 with Sam Phillips at Memphis Recording Service, which became Sun Records.
Although Rocket 88 was an Ike Turner recording, it was released under the name Jackie Brentson and His Delta Cats.
There is a Mississippi Blues Trail marker at the Riverside Hotel.
