Many of the classic New Orleans R&B recordings between 1945-1956 were recorded at Cosimo Matassa’s J&M Recording Studio at 838 North Rampart Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Tracks recorded here include the early Fats Domino recordings for Imperial Records and the early Little Richard recordings for Specialty Records.
